Day 1:Welcome to Egypt

Welcome to Egypt. Our airport transfer team is available 24/7. As soon as you get out of the exit gate of the Terminal, you will find Ancient Egypt Tours representative, holding a sign, waiting to meet and greet you. He will escort you to your private A/C vehicle. You will be transferred to the hotel and the reception manager will assist you in check-in procedures as smooth as possible. Ancient Egypt Tours agent will contact you to agree on a meeting time with you

Day 2: Giza Pyramids - Saqqara Pyramids and Tomps - Memphis

After breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then met your personal guide who will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world The Great Pyramid of Khufu’s (Cheops), 3small pyramids You will continue to explore the rest of Giza plateau including the sight of Khafre’s (kaphren) pyramid – Khufu‘s son, the second-largest pyramid on Giza site,, the remains of the funeral temple, the pyramid of Mankawra ( Mykerinus) and 3 small pyramids. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body, which dates from the time of Chephren; the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the pyramids of chefren This temple served definitely two functions: First, it was used for the purification of the mummy of the king before its burial. Second, it was used for making the Mummification process of the king. After visiting the pyramids, you’ll then continue across the plateau for a photo opportunity of the three pyramids rising from the sands, with the Cairo skyline in the background.
Proceed to have your lunch at local restaurant.
Then Move to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser, the museum of Imhotep, the tomb of a high official, the pyramid of king titi, the pyramid of king Unas, and see the pyramids of Dahshur from a distance.
After that transfer to Memphis, which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Old Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt, the city reached a peak of prestige under the 6th dynasty as a center for the worship of Ptah, the god of creation and artworks. The alabaster sphinx that guards the Temple of Ptah serves as a memorial of the city’s former power and prestige. The Memphis triad, consisting of the creator god Ptah, his consort Sekhmet, and their son Nefertem, formed the main focus of worship in the city. Memphis declined briefly after the 18th dynasty with the rise of Thebes and the New Kingdom and was revived under the Persians before falling firmly into second place following the foundation of Alexandria and see the Statue of Ramses II-16 meters high, the alabaster sphinx you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 3:Egyptian Museum - Old Cairo

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be escorted by your private guide to visit the ever-famous Get ready to be astonished by The Grand Egyptian Museum tour. walking through layers and layer of Egyptian history. Each hall unpacks breathtaking artifacts. Each piece is loaded with history, architecture and significance. Experience King Tutankhamen’s possessions and history like you have never before. The visit lasts a couple of hours but the experience lasts for a life time.

After lunch, you will move on to Coptic Cairo to visit   Babylon Fortress and the Hanging Church, Church of St. Barbara, Church of St. Sergius and Ben Ezra synagogue.

Day 4:Fayoum Oasis

Ancient Egypt Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo. From Cairo to Fayoum is about 95 km. visit Karanis which is the ruin of an old city, that city contains a number of monuments, dating from the Roman, Coptic and Early Islamic periods. After that you will proceed to visit The Water Wheels which are said to be running since the Ptolemaic era. Then enjoy Lake Qaroun where you can see different kinds of birds. Qaroun Lake is considered the oldest natural lakes in the world, the third largest lake in Egypt and the rest of Lake Old Moerisi. Then onto Wadi el Rayan, designated a Protected Area in 1989, Wadi El Rayan is a natural depression located in the western desert, 42m below sea level. Wadi el Rayan consists of two lakes connected by Egypt’s only waterfalls, formed in 1970 by an overflow of drainage water from the farmlands in Fayoum. transfer back to Cairo.

Day 6:Civilization Museum - Citadel of Salah El-Din - Khan El Khalili Bazaar

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be escorted by your private guide to Egyptian Civilization, located near Old Cairo, at the archaeological site of Fustat which was the Egyptian capital about 1400 years ago, also known as the NEMEC Museum and overlooks Lake Ain Al-Sira. And very close to most of the Islamic and Coptic monuments in Cairo, it also displays collectibles from the Pharaonic, Roman, Coptic, Islamic and modern civilizations. The main exhibition hall displays the four main crafts that shaped the Egyptian civilization: pottery, wood, textiles and ornaments, and you can see there The oldest artificial finger worldwide, the skeleton of a man dating back 30,000 years, the Kiswa of the Kaaba which was last made in Egypt during the era of President Nasser and the Mahmal which carried the covering from Egypt to Saudi Arabia every year. In a large presentation, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is considered the first museum in the world that presents a comprehensive view of Egyptian civilization throughout history, from prehistoric times to modern history. A large part of the museum is the hall where the mummies are now displayed, not only that, wander the royal mummies hall, and see the golden sarcophagi and the remains of the pharaohs of the past. Day 7:Alexandria Sightseeing

Enjoy your Alexandria Day Tour. Our Ancient Egypt Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to enjoy a day tour in the amazing city Alexandria. First visit Pompay’s Pillar. It was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Originally from the temple of the Serapis, it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesarean. Then you drive to visit the Catacombs which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock. Lunch at local restaurant in Alexandria.

Tipping for a job well done is customary and highly expected in Egypt though it is not obligatory. Please feel welcomed but not obliged to offer a tip to your service provider

  • Double room accommodates two adults in either a double bed or double bed and can accommodate a child sharing his parents’ room.

We are offering a considerable down payment of just 20% to secure your space on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel-related services and 30% during Christmas, New Year and Easter Holidays. The remaining balance can be paid up to two days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination. Therefore, your booking will be a risk-free investment.

In case you cancel your trip, the following charges will be applied:

At any time after your booking is confirmed, Ancient Egypt Tours holds a 20% non-refundable deposit

7 days or less before departure, we will retain the 50% payment you have paid in relation to your booking.

We advise all clients to purchase travel insurance in the event that travel is unexpectedly interrupted due to illness. To confirm the booking, the client must pay a deposit of 20% of the total tour price.

Should the reservation be canceled, customers will be charged a fee depending on how far beyond the departure date the cancellation is made. To cancel, the Customer must notify the Tour Organizer in writing.

Full payment forfeiture in case of no show

  • Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: 20% of the total tour price (deposit).
  • Cancellation made between 08 and 30 days before arrival: 50% of the total tour price.
  • Cancellation made between 04 and 07 days before arrival: 75% of the total tour price.
  • Cancellation made between 0 and 3 days before arrival: 100% of the total tour price

All Transportation tickets are nonrefundable and there’s also a 5% transaction fee on refunds.

Here, at Ancient Egypt Tours, we prioritize your well-being and safety above all else and for that reason, we have adapted our cancellation policy to reflect our values. We offer a very flexible cancellation policy in case the government or the airline issues a NOT TO TRAVEL warning to the designated destination. In the event of this happening, we will refund you the amount paid according to cancellation policy, unless you prefer to keep your payment available for future travel credit and travel voucher that can be used towards any of the destinations, we operate tours in. You have the flexibility to apply this amount towards new travel services booked. Reservations will be adjusted to reflect these travel credits automatically.

After your tour is confirmed, we will email final confirmation and voucher to print and bring with you. Details will include contact numbers of your tour operator and customer care and additional information for your convenience.

1. How to issue your visa?

If you are planning to visit Egypt, there are three types of visas that you can apply for: Visa on Arrival, E-Visa, and Free Visa. To obtain a Visa on Arrival that lasts for 30 days, you must be a citizen of one of the eligible countries, have a valid passport with at least 6 months remaining, and pay $25 USD in cash at the airport border guard.

To apply for an E-Visa that also lasts for 30 days, you must have a valid passport with at least 8 months remaining, complete the online application, pay the e-visa fee, and print the e-visa to present it to the airport border guard.

If you are one of the lucky ones, you can obtain a free visa that lasts for 90 days.

3. What is the weather during the tour?

The temperature in Egypt varies from 14°C to 37°C. During summer, the temperature is hot but sometimes it becomes cold at night. In winter, the temperature is cool and mild. The average of low temperatures vary from 9.5°C in the wintertime to 23°C in the summertime and the average high temperatures vary from 17°C in the wintertime to 32°C in the summertime. The temperature is moderate all along the coasts.

Arabic is the official language and Most Egyptians, who live in the cities, speak or understand English or at least some English words or phrases. Fewer Egyptians can speak French, Italian, Spanish, and German.
