Ancient Egypt Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel, to enjoy an excursion to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser, the museum of I Mhotep, the tomb of a high official, the pyramid of king Titi, the pyramid of king Unas.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be escorted by your private guide to visit to Coptic Cairo to visit   Babylon Fortress and the Hanging Church, Church of St. Barbara, Church of St. Sergius and Ben Ezra synagogue.

Enrich you tour with a visit to Amr Ibn El-Aas Mosque which is the very first mosque built in Egypt.

Then move to visit the important church Simon the Tanner (fl. 10th century), also known as Saint Simon the Shoemaker (Sam’ān al-Kharrāz) is the Coptic Orthodox saint associated with the story of the moving the Mokattam Mountain in Cairo, during the rule of the Muslim Fatimid Caliph al-Muizz Lideenillah (953-975) while Abraham the Syrian was the Pope of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria. Simon the Tanner lived towards the end of the tenth century and many Coptic Christians in Egypt, who were also engaged in handicrafts. Saint Simon worked in tanning, a craft known there till this day. This profession involved other crafts that depend on the process, from when Simon carried several titles related to skins: Tanner, Cobbler, and Shoemaker.

After Lunch visiting Egyptian Civilization, located near Old Cairo, at the archaeological site of Fustat which was the Egyptian capital about 1400 years ago, also known as the NEMEC Museum and overlooks Lake Ain Al-Sira. And very close to most of the Islamic and Coptic monuments in Cairo, it also displays collectibles from the Pharaonic, Roman, Coptic, Islamic and modern civilizations. The main exhibition hall displays the four main crafts that shaped the Egyptian civilization: pottery, wood, textiles and ornaments, and you can see there The oldest artificial finger worldwide, the skeleton of a man dating back 30,000 years, the Kiswa of the Kaaba which was last made in Egypt during the era of President Nasser and the Mahmal which carried the covering from Egypt to Saudi Arabia every year. In a large presentation, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is considered the first museum in the world that presents a comprehensive view of Egyptian civilization throughout history, from prehistoric times to modern history. A large part of the museum is the hall where the mummies are now displayed, not only that, wander the royal mummies hall, and see the golden sarcophagi and the remains of the pharaohs of the past. After breakfast at the hotel, you will be escorted by your private guide to visit to Citadel of Salah El-Din, where you will see the view of all Cairo, as you will visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque which is considered the largest to be built in the beginning of the 19th century the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) who ruled Egypt over 45 years & it is built in Baruk style.

Than move to The Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan is regarded as the finest piece of early-Mamluk architecture era in Cairo, an age of architectural splendour. Story has it that the construction of this complex was a tedious and tragic process. In fact, it was built between 1356 and 1363 by the Sultan Hassan who was murdered shortly before the mosque was completed. Sultan Hassan’s madrassa-mosque was built out of huge blocks of stone. Only a glimpse of the splendour you’ll gaze at inside.

Al-Rifai Mosque (Masjid Al-Rifa’i)
Opposite the 14th-century Sultan Hassan Mosque, the Al-Rifai Mosque (Masjid Al-Rifa’i) is similarly grand. The mosque, built between 1869 and 1912, has a towering minaret and four decorated facades capped with an ornate dome. One of Cairo’s largest mosques, it houses the tombs of many members of the Egyptian royal family, including King Farouk.

It was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Originally from the temple of the Serapis, it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesarean. Then you drive to visit the Catacombs which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock. Lunch at local restaurant in Alexandria.

 then we proceed to see the Qaitbay Citadel which was built on the site of the ancient pharaohs (Light House) of Alexandria then to Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Finally, you will drive back to Cairo.

Philae Temple; Built to honor the goddess Isis, this was the last temple built in the classical Egyptian style. Construction began around 690 BC, and it was one of the last outposts where the goddess was worshipped. The cult of Isis continued here until at least AD 550. The boat leaves you near the Kiosk of Nectanebo, the oldest part, and the entrance to the temple is marked by the 18m-high first pylon with reliefs of Ptolemy XII Neos Dionysos smiting enemies.

The Unfinished Obelisk; Aswan was the source of ancient Egypt’s finest granite, used to make statues and embellish temples, pyramids and obelisks. The large unfinished obelisk in the Northern Quarries has provided valuable insight into how these monuments were created, although the full construction process is still not entirely clear. Three sides of the shaft, nearly 42m long, were completed except for the inscriptions. At 1168 tonnes, the completed obelisk would have been the single heaviest piece of stone the Egyptians ever fashioned.

High Dam; Egypt’s modern example of construction on a monumental scale, the controversial Aswan High Dam, 13km south of Aswan, contains 18 times the amount of material used in the Great Pyramid of Khufu and created Lake Nasser, one of the world’s largest artificial lakes.

Enjoy your Abu Simbel Day Trip from Aswan. Our Ancient Egypt Tours Representative will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan by a PRIVATE air-conditioned vehicle. It is about 03 hours and half, one way driving from Aswan to Abu Simbel. You will enjoy Abu Simbel area with its main attraction “the great sun temple of Ramses II” and the temple of queen Nefertari. Both temples were discovered in 1813 it was almost completely covered with sand. Then both temples were moved in 1960 by the help of Egyptian government and UNESCO to avoid the rising water of the Nile. Ramses II built the temple mostly to honour himself as inside there is a mural depicting his famous victory at Kadesh battle where his army defeated his enemies. On the north of Ramses temple, the Nefertari Temple which was built by Ramses II to his favourite wife Queen Nefertari among other 200 wives and concubines. After finishing the visit you will be escorted back to your Nile Cruise in Aswan by your private air-conditioned vehicle

Sail by lunch time to Kom Ombo.

Upon arrival, visit the temple of Kom Ombo; Standing on a promontory at a bend in the Nile, where in ancient times sacred crocodiles basked in the sun on the riverbank, is the Temple of Kom Ombo, one of the Nile Valley’s most beautifully sited temples. Unique in Egypt, it is dedicated to two gods; the local crocodile god Sobek, and Haroeris (from har-wer), meaning Horus the Elder.

Start your tour by a visit  visit to the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history and was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco Roman Kingdom.

Then move to Luxor Temple. It was built by Amenhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom, and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. King Ramses II was the most famous king in the 19th Dynasty. He ruled Egypt for about 67 years. It was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu together representing the Theban triad. Enjoy visiting Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon. After finishing your day tour, transfer to Luxor Airport, fly to Cairo, and stay in a hotel in Cairo.

Disembark and visit Valley of the kings; The west bank of Luxor had been the site of royal burials since around 2100 BC, but it was the pharaohs of the New Kingdom period (1550–1069 BC) who chose this isolated valley dominated by the pyramid-shaped mountain peak of Al Qurn (The Horn). Once called the Great Necropolis of Millions of Years of Pharaoh, or the Place of Truth, the Valley of the Kings has 63 magnificent royal tombs.

Queen Hatshepsut’s Mortuary Temple: At Deir Al Bahri, the eyes first focus on the dramatic rugged limestone cliffs that rise nearly 300m above the desert plain, only to realize that at the foot of all this immense beauty lies a monument even more extraordinary, the dazzling Temple of Hatshepsut. The almost-modern-looking temple blends in beautifully with the cliffs from which it is partly cut – a marriage made in heaven. Most of what you see has been painstakingly reconstructed.

Colossi of Memnon; The two faceless Colossi of Memnon, originally representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III, rising majestically about 18m from the plain, are the first monuments tourists see when they visit the west bank. These magnificent colossi, each cut from a single block of stone and weighing 1000 tonnes, sat at the eastern entrance to the funerary temple of Amenophis III, the largest on the west bank. Egyptologists are currently excavating the temple and their discoveries can be seen behind the colossi. Traveling to Hurghada by via air-conditioned vehicle to the resort area of Hurghada, where you will check into your hotel. You will the rest of the day free and will will stay in Hurghada overnight.

Today is all about relaxation and leisure. Explore the city, shop until you drop, or visit the Red Sea and relax on the beach. You will spend the night in your hotel in Hurghada.

After breakfast at the hotel in Hurghada. Transfer to Hurghada Airport, fly to Cairo, and stay in a hotel in Cairo.
