Day 1:Welcome to Egypt

Welcome to Egypt. Our airport transfer team is available 24/7. As soon as you get out of the exit gate of the Terminal, you will find Ancient Egypt Tours representative, holding a sign, waiting to meet and greet you. He will escort you to your private A/C vehicle. You will be transferred to the hotel and the reception manager will assist you in check-in procedures as smooth as possible. Ancient Egypt Tours agent will contact you to agree on a meeting time with you

Day 2: Giza Pyramids - Saqqara Pyramids and Tomps - Memphis

After breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then met your personal guide who will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world The Great Pyramid of Khufu’s (Cheops), 3small pyramids You will continue to explore the rest of Giza plateau including the sight of Khafre’s (kaphren) pyramid – Khufu‘s son, the second-largest pyramid on Giza site,, the remains of the funeral temple, the pyramid of Mankawra ( Mykerinus) and 3 small pyramids. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body, which dates from the time of Chephren; the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the pyramids of chefren This temple served definitely two functions: First, it was used for the purification of the mummy of the king before its burial. Second, it was used for making the Mummification process of the king. After visiting the pyramids, you’ll then continue across the plateau for a photo opportunity of the three pyramids rising from the sands, with the Cairo skyline in the background.

It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser, the museum of Imhotep, the tomb of a high official, the pyramid of king titi, the pyramid of king Unas, and see the pyramids of Dahshur from a distance.

After that transfer to Memphis, which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Old Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt, the city reached a peak of prestige under the 6th dynasty as a center for the worship of Ptah, the god of creation and artworks. The alabaster sphinx that guards the Temple of Ptah serves as a memorial of the city’s former power and prestige. The Memphis triad, consisting of the creator god Ptah, his consort Sekhmet, and their son Nefertem, formed the main focus of worship in the city. Day 3:Egyptian Museum - Old Cairo

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be escorted by your private guide to visit the ever-famous Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from different period of Egyptian history. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection in the world. Over 250,000 overwhelming artifacts are presented.

Before extending your trip, you will be served with a warm delightful lunch meal at a high-quality restaurant.

After lunch, you will move on to Coptic Cairo to visit Babylon Fortress and the Hanging Church, Church of St. Barbara, Church of St. Sergius and Ben Ezra synagogue.

Day 4:Citadel of Salah El-Din -Sultan Hassan - Ibn Tulun mosque - Moez Street - Bazaar

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be escorted by your private guide to visit the Citadel of Salah El-Din, where you will see the view of all Cairo, as you will visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque which is considered the largest to be built in the beginning of the 19th century the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) who ruled Egypt over 45 years & it is built in Baruk style.

After that transfer to visit the Sultan Hassan Mosque one of the best mosques and madrasa in the historical center of Cairo, near the Citadel. This mosque combines strength and splendor, elegance and beauty, with a very varied decoration. One of its most notable elements is the main façade, the northern one, 145 m long and 38 m high. It is decorated in stone and marble, and at the top it has a magnificent cornice which consists of nine rows of honeycomb (named Muqarnas in the Islamic Art). It was ordered by Sultan Hasan; its construction began in 1336. The mosque has an open courtyard, with a standard cross-shaped plan, and four vaulted iwanes. Each iwan is dedicated to one of the four schools, behind each iwan is a madrasa; each of them has its own courtyard and four floors of cells for students and teachers. In the center of the courtyard is a fountain of ablutions used before each sentence.

Then we will enter the Al Rifai Mosque, it is located in front of the Sultan Hassan madrasa mosque, it was built in two phases during the period between 1869 and 1912, and was architecturally conceived as a complement to the oldest structure. This new mosque was part of a major campaign by 19th century Egypt’s rulers to associate with the perceived glory of earlier periods in Egypt’s Islamic history and modernize the city. The mosque was built next to two large public squares and out of several European-style boulevards built at the same time. They were buried here after his death, Mohamed Reda Pahlavi, ” the Shah of Persian ”, some royal family of Egypt, and King Farouk the last king of the monarchy of Egypt.

After that transfer to, Ibn Tulun mosque, & Gayer Anderson Museum, after that transfer to Al-Moez Street is one of the most important tourist attractions in Egypt, which includes a number of ancient mosques and schools dating back to Islamic times. It includes many shops in which tourists will be able to buy souvenirs from Egypt, then move to Al-Azhar Mosque located in the heart of Islamic Cairo, is one of the oldest and most significant mosques in Egypt. After breakfast at the hotel, you will be escorted by your private guide to Egyptian Civilization, located near Old Cairo, at the archaeological site of Fustat which was the Egyptian capital about 1400 years ago, also known as the NEMEC Museum and overlooks Lake Ain Al-Sira. And very close to most of the Islamic and Coptic monuments in Cairo, it also displays collectibles from the Pharaonic, Roman, Coptic, Islamic and modern civilizations. It was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Originally from the temple of the Serapis, it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesarean. Then you drive to visit the Catacombs which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock. Lunch at local restaurant in Alexandria.

At any time after your booking is confirmed, Ancient Egypt Tours holds a 20% non-refundable deposit

7 days or less before departure, we will retain the 50% payment you have paid in relation to your booking.

We advise all clients to purchase travel insurance in the event that travel is unexpectedly interrupted due to illness. To confirm the booking, the client must pay a deposit of 20% of the total tour price.

Should the reservation be canceled, customers will be charged a fee depending on how far beyond the departure date the cancellation is made. To cancel, the Customer must notify the Tour Organizer in writing.

Full payment forfeiture in case of no show

Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: 20% of the total tour price (deposit).
Cancellation made between 08 and 30 days before arrival: 50% of the total tour price.
Cancellation made between 04 and 07 days before arrival: 75% of the total tour price.
Cancellation made between 0 and 3 days before arrival: 100% of the total tour price

All Transportation tickets are nonrefundable and there’s also a 5% transaction fee on refunds.

Here, at Ancient Egypt Tours, we prioritize your well-being and safety above all else and for that reason, we have adapted our cancellation policy to reflect our values. We offer a very flexible cancellation policy in case the government or the airline issues a NOT TO TRAVEL warning to the designated destination. In the event of this happening, we will refund you the amount paid according to cancellation policy, unless you prefer to keep your payment available for future travel credit and travel voucher that can be used towards any of the destinations, we operate tours in. You have the flexibility to apply this amount towards new travel services booked. Reservations will be adjusted to reflect these travel credits automatically.

After your tour is confirmed, we will email final confirmation and voucher to print and bring with you. Details will include contact numbers of your tour operator and customer care and additional information for your convenience.

1. How to issue your visa?

If you are planning to visit Egypt, there are three types of visas that you can apply for: Visa on Arrival, E-Visa, and Free Visa. To obtain a Visa on Arrival that lasts for 30 days, you must be a citizen of one of the eligible countries, have a valid passport with at least 6 months remaining, and pay $25 USD in cash at the airport border guard.

To apply for an E-Visa that also lasts for 30 days, you must have a valid passport with at least 8 months remaining, complete the online application, pay the e-visa fee, and print the e-visa to present it to the airport border guard.

If you are one of the lucky ones, you can obtain a free visa that lasts for 90 days.

The temperature in Egypt varies from 14°C to 37°C. During summer, the temperature is hot but sometimes it becomes cold at night. In winter, the temperature is cool and mild. The average of low temperatures vary from 9.5°C in the wintertime to 23°C in the summertime and the average high temperatures vary from 17°C in the wintertime to 32°C in the summertime. The temperature is moderate all along the coasts.
