Payment Policy

Bookings must be made well in advance before the desired holiday is booked. A place on the selected tour will be secured upon receipt of the required deposit which is estimated based on the tour requested, number of travelers and date requested for the tour. The deposit will of course be counted as part of the final payment.

For land tours that do not require hotels or domestic flights, we usually do not require a down payment and you can pay the full cost of your tour upon arrival to your tour guide. You are free to pay the cost in any currency you want in US Dollars, Egyptian Pounds, Canadian Dollars, Euros, Australian Dollars, British Pounds, etc. If you wish to pay for the tour via your credit card, there are no additional bank fees.

Part 1

For shore excursions, for any shore excursion, we require that 20% of the tour cost be sent as a deposit through your credit/debit card without any additional charges or via bank transfer, and for the rest, it must be paid upon arrival in cash in your desired currency or by Route your card, whatever it is. Feel free to pay for your tour in any currency you want.

Part 2

For tours that also include flights, for these tours we require a 20% advance payment via your credit card, or through bank transfer and the rest is paid upon arrival in cash in US dollars, Egyptian pounds or via your card. Feel free to pay for your tour in any currency you want.

Part 3

Kindly Note That your booking should be made as early as possible to guarantee the availability of your tour and once we receive your deposit, it is going to be our responsibility to start your booking procedures based on the required date of the tour, the number of travelers, and of course, the required tour package. Paying the deposit is now much easier than ever as your tour operators will create a secured link for you with the agreed-on deposit and then you can use it in a very smooth way to send us the deposit.

Cancellation

Air fair is non refundable

We may cancel the tour at any time up to 30 days before departure. We may cancel a tour at any time prior to departure, due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events, where we are unable to operate your planned itinerary.

If we cancel your tour, you can either choose another departure date or alternatively receive a full refund. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events beyond our reasonable control, refunds will be less any non-refundable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses you may incur as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, excess travel insurance or non-refundable flights.

For day tours you can cancel your tour up to 24 hours prior to departure

For multi day tours, If you cancel your reservation, cancellation fees will apply. Cancellation is only possible in writing. If you cancel your trip:

  • At any time after your booking is confirmed, Ancient Egypt Tours holds a 10% non-refundable deposit

7 days or less before departure, we will retain the 50% payment you have paid in relation to your booking.

*The tour operator advises all clients to purchase travel insurance in the event that travel is unexpectedly interrupted due to illness. To confirm the booking, the client must pay a deposit of 20% of the total tour price.

Should the reservation be canceled, customers will be charged a fee depending on how far beyond the departure date the cancellation is made. To cancel, the Customer must notify the Tour Organizer in writing.

  • Full payment forfeiture does not appear.
  • Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: 20% of the total tour price (deposit).
  • Cancellation made between 08 and 30 days before arrival: 50% of the total tour price.
  • Cancellation made between 04 and 07 days before arrival: 75% of the total tour price.
  • Cancellation made between 0 and 3 days before arrival: 100% of the total tour price

Flexibility

The itinerary provided for each tour represents the types of activities contemplated but it is understood that the route, schedules, itineraries, amenities and method of transportation may be subject to change without notice due to local conditions or events.

Optional activities

Optional activities are not included in the tour price and are not part of our contract.

You agree that any assistance provided by your guide without referring to  the head office in arranging optional activities does not make us responsible for them in any way. The contract for the provision of this activity will be between you and the activity provider unless specified by us.

Postponing Your Tour

You can get back to us if you decided to postpone your tour until 6 months ahead to another date for free if neither of your booking procedures was taken from our side. Then we can postpone your tour as you wish. After reaching an agreement with us of postponing your tour and then you decided to cancel your booking for any reason, and then our cancellation policy will be

If you decide to postpone your tour more than 6 months ahead and less than a year you might be subject to amendment fees

Black Friday Offers

 All the Black Friday deals will be available till November 30th on our Ancient Egypt tours website. Offers are only available and valid on new inquiries made during the Black Friday sale. Our Black Friday offers may apply on seasonal & occasional holiday packages plus Exclusions may also apply.

Refunds

All refunds will be performed through the same account, in the same method of the original payment. No Refunds will be possible in the event of a no show for a present reservation.
